Enrollment for school year 2010-2011
Kindergarten Registration
Ahwatukee Foothills Prep is pleased to offer full-day kindergarten at no cost for the 2010-2011 school year. Students who turn 5 by August 31, 2010 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten. Kindergarten registration follows the same enrollment process as described below.
Registration Process for New Students
Ahwatukee Foothills Prep enrollment window for the 2010-2011 school year for grades K-8 is now open and will continue through Friday, February 26, 2010. Applications received after February 26, 2010 will be accepted, however, applicants will not be included in the lottery drawing and will be placed on a waitlist if the class in which they enroll is full.
The Lottery has been scheduled for March 9, 2010 and 11:00 am. Lottery drawings will be dependent upon the number of applications received. If there are more applications than seats available waiting lists will be generated. Parents will be notified by March 11, 2010, of placement of their student(s)’.
Registration Preference
Re-enrolling students and their siblings are given preference in the registration process. Next, children of employees and Board Members of Ahwatukee Foothills Prep will be given second preference, then preference will go to the lottery drawing.
Informational Meetings
Informational meetings have been scheduled. Please note that childcare is not provided, but children are welcome to attend with their parents. This is a time for parents to receive information regarding our program and have the opportunity to ask questions and tour our facility.
Tours of the school may also be scheduled. Please contact the main office at 480-763-5101 to schedule a tour.

Thursday, April 8th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Current AFP Student Re-enrollment
Current students must submit a complete registration packet to the school no later than Friday, February 26, 2010 to ensure a space for the student for the 2010-2011 school year.
Registration Night for returning students has been scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2010, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Families may download a complete registration packet from the school website (www.afprep.org), pick up a packet at the front office, or attend the registration night.
Current AFP families who are enrolling siblings must return their completed registration packets no later than Friday, February 26, 2010, to ensure a space for the student.
How to enroll – There are 3 steps required to enroll your child. Your child’s enrollment is not complete until you have been notified by the school that s/he has been accepted for the upcoming year.
1. (Required) – Complete the online pre-enrollment form below for each child you wish to enroll. Please choose whether you would prefer the full enrollment packet to be sent to your email address or by regular mail to your mailing address.
2. (Required) – Once it is received, complete the full enrollment packet and return it to the school. If you have any questions regarding the forms in the packet, please contact the school. The sooner your packet is submitted, the sooner you will learn about your child’s acceptance based on the school’s classroom space availability and lottery procedures.
3. (Required) – Wait to hear from the school regarding your child’s enrollment status.
4. (Optional) – We encourage you to visit the school and/or attend a parent information meeting to help address any questions you may have.
