This Friday, December 16, the PTO is sponsoring a lunch for the teachers and we need donations of food and help setting things up.

Updated Bus Routes.

Dear AFP Families,

Thank you again for all of your support and wonderful suggestions during our real estate negotiations. We are pleased to announce that AFP has a NEW HOME! The new address will be 5835 West Ray Road.

There are a few important notes to share:
– School will continue uninterrupted until September 29, 2011 at the CURRENT location.
– THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL September 30, 2011
– October Break will be from October 3rd to October 7th to accommodate the move. NO SCHOOL October 3-7, 2011
– There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, September 15, at 6:00 P.M. in AFP Gymnasium to share the transition plan and answer questions.

Both the Facebook page and our website will be continuously updated to share any and all information with you as well as sending letters home with your children. You may also contact the office at 480-763-5101. Thank you!

TOMORROW, 8/30, is Picture Day! All students MUST be in uniform. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact Yalonda Thompson at 480-763-5101.

There is NO SCHOOL on 8/2 for Professional Development, and NO SCHOOL on 8/5 in observance of Labor Day.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Ahwatukee Foothills Prep has been in the process of purchasing 3 buses to transport students. Today at 2:30om we were informed that the buses will not be available for use until next week due to ADOT inspection requirements.

We ask that you make arrangements to get your child to and from school for the next few days. We know that this is an inconvenience and appreciate our families ‘support and patience.

We will resume normal bus schedules immediately upon the completion of the bus inspections.
